Dr. Ian Alvey and Dr. Dylan Sobin combine expertise, compassion, and advanced technology to create a welcoming experience for every visit.
Dr. Ian Alvey
Dr. Ian Alvey is all about making dental care simple, precise, and stress-free. A self-proclaimed “tooth nerd,” he loves using cutting-edge technology to help patients understand their oral health and receive the most accurate and effective treatment. Whether he is scanning teeth, designing digital models, or 3D printing for a perfect fit, he is always looking for ways to improve the patient experience.
Originally from Pineville, NC, Dr. Alvey earned his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) before completing his residency in Asheville, NC. While at MAHEC, he gained hands-on experience in digital dentistry and even taught the subject to fellow professionals. Eventually, he brought his skills and passion back home to launch Infinity Dental Arts, where he is committed to delivering top-notch care to the Indian Trail, NC, community.
When he is not in the office, you will likely find him wakeboarding on Lake Wylie, snowboarding whenever he gets the chance, or playing a round of golf with friends.
Dr. Dylan Sobin
Dr. Dylan Sobin is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable while receiving high-quality dental care. With advanced training in IV sedation, dental implants, oral surgery, and periodontal surgery, he makes it easy for patients to get everything they need in one place. Whether it takes sedation or just a compassionate approach, he loves helping people who have had bad experiences with dentistry feel at ease.
A South Carolina native, Dr. Sobin attended Clemson University before earning his DMD from MUSC. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Augusta University, further refining his skills. He stays active in the field as a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Christian Dental Society. He is also committed to giving back through programs like the Special Olympics Special Smiles initiative and St. Matthew’s Baptist Church Free Clinic.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Sobin enjoys fishing, kayaking, golfing, and camping. He is also a big fan of basketball, playing guitar, staying active at the gym, and checking out new restaurants.
